One can’t help but wonder if the people in Glendive know that ‘Lie Boyles™ (nee Emilie Oy) might walk away with stuff that doesn’t belong to her. It would explain why, when she needed a recovery disk for her laptop back in January, she specifically offered to let anyone who had one “stand over me while I use it so you get it right back”.

Way back in September, ‘Lie Boyles™ (nee Emilie Oy) was taking applications for a campaign manager here in Portland for an unspecified campaign. “Why worry about it?” was what she told Willamette Week at the time. Apparently, according to the Mercury, she no longer is accepting any further applications for that position. But you can still purchase some of my fine Emilie Oy products, if you haven’t already.
Addendum: By the way, anyone ever able to determine just what happened to The Pendulum Swings, the book she was going to publish and which many of us, perversely, were eagerly awaiting?
According to today’s Murmurs, Willamette Week asked ‘Lie Boyles™ (nee Emilie Oy) about her mysterious resurfacing to seek a “campaign manager” for an unspecified candidate for an unspecified office. Her comment to the paper: “Why worry about it?”

Back in May, when the City noted that they hadn’t heard from ‘Lie Boyles for awhile (that eventually changed, as she had to appear in local court), I pointed out that she was quite active on a Montana discussion forum, where she was helping spammers get their message out. At some point since then, while her profile there remains and claims that she has 29 posts, they’ve all been deleted.
It would appear that ‘Lie Boyles (nee Emilie Oy) has removed from her website the reference to her perpetually-forthcoming book, The Pendulum Swings, which she had hinted would include her response to her controversial tenure here in Portland as a politician, scofflaw, and deadbeat.
Several days ago I noted the irony of ‘Lie Boyles helping to combat spam on a Montana discussion forum. Since then, I’ve checked in to see if there’s anything new. Thankfully, there is. Oh, how I love that I make myself check up on these things.
As reported by Theo and by the Merc, the bigots who filed to refer domestic partnerships to the ballot are withdrawing their petition in favor of one filed by a group apparently calling itself Defense of Marriage and Family, AGAIN!
