Join the writers, and potentially actors, of Mutant Enemy shows (that, of course, would mean Buffy, Angel, and Firefly) on the picket lines on December 7.

We’re still building the site, and it doesn’t yet reflect the full scope of the undertaking, but fans4writers.com has launched and gone live. It’s very much a work in progress, as we’re scrambling to get all the necessary components in place.
“None of the writers - or anyone - I’ve spoken to have ever heard of fans organizing and supporting a strike the way you guys have,” blogs Joss Whedon today. “Supporting our right not to entertain you. Seriously, that’s rare. When I showed my wife the banner that went with the pizza scheme, she just said, ‘These people are gonna be running the world.’ Man, I hope she’s right.”
While I and others were busy wrapping up our weekend at Serenity LA, fans of Joss Whedon delivered pizza to WHedon alumnus Jane Espenson and other writers on the strike lines. Coming soon is Fans 4 Writers (disclaimer, since I’ve been involved in a number of fandom activites: the site isn’t my idea), a clearinghouse for organizing fans of various television shows. Want to get started early? Read this item and then (for those with accounts, or willing to sign up for one) click the “digg it” link at the bottom of it.
Hopefully, my server will behave for the next five days, because I’ll be at Serenity LA, presuming I manage the walk through the chilly morning to the MAX station in order to get to the airport. Now if only Joss would put in a surprise appearance at the con to discuss his new television show, yes?
