Photographic Prints For Sale / PIE SPOILERS!!!

Walk To The Tram?

On the flyer posted outside the house for sale across from work, nestled in amongst the usual sorts of things you’d expect (3 bedrooms, “lots of hardwood floors”, on block to bus line) is a list of places to which you can walk from this house. That list begins with these words: “Walk to the Tram”.

Really?

Maybe it’s just me, but with I-5 blocking the way between the house and the South Waterfront tram station and the entirety of Pill Hill blocking the way between the house and the OSHU tram station, I’m not sure I’d consider a house on SW First to be someplace from which one would want to try to “walk to the tram”.

(Granted, the flyer also says, way down at the bottom in small print: “Information is not guaranteed and should be verified.” The degree to which that statement offers confidence in the realty industry gives me goosebumps.)

Besides, the real tram-related selling point of this particular house is fairly evident, and yet the realtor left it out: It’s the only house on this particular block with a second-floor open-air porch on which you could sunbathe in the nude within sight of the tram riders.

I’m sure that fact will now guarantee the rapid sale of this house, in which case I expect to hear soon from the realtor about my commission.
