Has it ever occured to nimrods like Senator Hatch that if the terrorists really were running around making endorsements in American political campaigns, and if they really were giving those endorsements to Democrats, it could just be a trick?
As in, why should we believe any terrorists who might (at least in the minds of Republicans) stand up and say they support Democratic candidates? They’re terrorists, after all. Known to be deceitful.
Which would mean that if they were running around supporting Democrats it would actually be because they want to scare us into voting for Republicans, with whom the terrorists would feel more comfortable. It’s a simple trick: If people hate you, then support the people you least want to see in power, and the people who hate you will vote for the people you actually most want to see in power.
So, maybe all these Republicans running around trying to say the terrorists support Democrats might want to sit and think about how the premise can be turned around to make them the terrorists’ favorite candidates.
