Don't Believe In Fear, Don't Believe In Faith

Still More Robert King Wingnuttery

“I don’t think any of these numbers mean anything,” says the president of Robert King’s House of Wingnuttery in today’s Trib. “Even gathering the data in the first place was a mistake because this is just going to be used as a tool to criticize us, and it’s criticism that we don’t need and don’t deserve.”

Of course, as I’ve already indicated, King believes gathering the data is too much for his easily-distracted officers to handle, and that any criticism of his officers is criticism that’s unneeded and undeserved. I’m sure he’s quite happy to accept credit for positive news on behalf of his officers, but apparently nothing is ever their fault.

That attitude suggests that King might have a future working for Secretary of Pretense Rumsfeld or perhaps the Federal Emergency Making Agency.

Addendum: I should also give kudos to the Trib for bothering to mention in this article just why we have this data in the first place.
