So, after confirming Jack’s rumor that Emilie Oy was working the news at a TV station in Montana, Blogtown got a reaction from the City Auditor.
You might recall that the City served her with court papers a couple months ago, after someone called the City to tell them where Oy was.
According to Blogtown, “the city needs to go back to court, make her non-response official, and file the paperwork to have her wages garnished.”
All of this has made KGW, which properly credits Jack (”local blogger Jack Bogdanski” I believe they said) — both on their website and in their broadcast report — for first reporting Oy’s new job, although they don’t mention Blogtown having been the first to confirm the rumor.
(Their website also says Jack first reported her “reappearance” which is true if you mean real-world location, but untrue if you mean first indication that she was still active and spouting, in which case that would have been me here).
Meanwhile, according to KGW: “Reached at the TV station Tuesday evening, Boyles declined comment to KGW except to say people could read her comments in her book, which she said would be released on her web site some time in November.”
