I Am 3,000 Miles Away And Can Eat Polish Food

You can find the latest updates regarding my grandmother in the comments to my original post, and in a new post from my Mom.

Inspired by a conversation with her on the phone earlier, I went up to Zupans and came back and made myself some potato and cheese pierogi, sauteed in butter and onions (well, okay, it was margarine), and a couple kielbasa.

My grandmother, of course, will never know that I went out of my way to partake of food from her national heritage, but I, at least, did something in her name.

Well, she does know. She was alert today and I told her and she smiled.
